My turn at the news

 Not only is the world abroad more dangerous for Americans because of Republicans and the Religious right's foreign policies, but now it appears that a country in our own backyard is going to hell in a hand basket.  Is anyone in congress thinking of sending marines in to help?  Can we afford to have civilization collapse in a country that sits flush on our border? Oh that is right, they do not have enough oil for use to care.  We are a ship of fools and the Republican President in power is going to sit back and watch the world hate us, be the main cause of global warmning, and let a major north american country fall into civil unrest. Nero watched as Rome burned, perhaps mr. bush considers himself Ceasar?

 I think Mr. Wright far more exemplifies what is wrong with Christians and the Christian religious zealots that focus on politics than anything else. I certainly dont believe he has any bearing on Sen. Obama.  His assertions about AIDS is untrue. His belief that our government could perpetrate such a grand scheme flys in the face of their complete inability to "perpetrate" the things we know they are doing.  You cannot call them bozos and then expect them to act like a well oild machine. Mr. Wright is part of that group of people who's sense of logic is obscured by their world view...making him no different than the people he despises.
